About the Role
At Places Leisure, we aim to change lives by creating active places and enabling healthy lifestyles for communities to thrive. We are seeking a dedicated Group Workout Instructor to join our dynamic team at one of our locations.
You will thrive in a fast-paced, fun, and supportive environment, where your role is to inspire and motivate others through our world-class Group Workout Programme. With your experience in fitness, you will lead engaging workouts, maintain a safe environment, and foster a sense of community.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality group workouts to diverse classes, ensuring participants of all fitness levels feel motivated and safe.
- Hold the attention and engagement of both small and large groups with confidence and charisma.
- Adapt instruction dynamically to cater to varying abilities and fitness journeys while staying true to our programme.
- Uphold our company standards for safety, cleanliness, and facility maintenance, ensuring all regulations are met.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers by being approachable, supportive, and attentive to their needs.
- Engage in continuous learning and stay updated on industry trends to refine your expertise and offer the best experience.
Requirements
You will be:
- Enthusiastic and passionate about leading group workouts, committed to making every session engaging and uplifting.
- People-focused, prioritising customer satisfaction while maintaining a high level of energy in a lively environment.
- Skilled in coaching both beginners and experienced participants with adaptable and inclusive teaching methods.
- A strong communicator, able to inspire and motivate while ensuring participants feel encouraged—not intimidated.
- Highly organised, with exceptional time management skills to balance multiple classes efficiently.
- Team-focused, willing to contribute to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities.

Preferred but not mandatory:
- A recognised fitness and group workout qualification (e.g., L1 Group Fitness Instructor).
- Experience in personal training or structured group fitness classes.
Junior roles are open to motivated individuals—we will provide the support and training to help you grow, provided you demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to learning.
