About the Role
You will thrive as a Group Workout Instructor at Places Leisure. This role involves:
- Delivering invigorating, engaging, and safe group workout sessions in a fast-paced, lively setting.
- Inspiring participants of all abilities to achieve their fitness goals, while ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
- Leading classes—ranging from small groups to larger exercises—in a manner that keeps energy high and motivation levels through the roof.
- Maintaining a energetic, encouraging, and relatable atmosphere by putting people first and prioritising individual needs.
- Collaborating with colleagues across our team—ensuring facilities remain clean, safe, and well-run—while upholding company policies and operational standards.
What’s expected of you today: You must hold an appropriately recognised qualification to deliver our world-class Group Workout Programme. If you don’t yet hold one, don’t worry—we’ll support you through continuous learning opportunities to achieve it. Your main drive? Motivating, developing, and caring for your fellow exercisers.

This role is ideal if you’re someone who:
- Loves group training and fitness—easily capturing attention in a session and holding it until the final exaggerated stretch!
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic, attentive approach, always prioritising the customer experience.
- Can create meaningful, personal connections with clients quickly—because we all thrive more with good people around!
- Manages your time efficiently and professionally, keeping well-organised and adaptable under pressure.
- Remains committed to professional development, staying updated on industry trends and continuously evolving your expertise.
- Supports customers at all levels of fitness, creating a journey for those with varying backgrounds and abilities.
- Works collaboratively with your team to uphold high standards in everything you do—facility cleanliness, safety, regulations, and a welcoming environment.
