THE ROLE: Group and Events Sales Executive
Crafting memorable moments through precision, passion and partnership
As a Group and Events Executive at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, you’ll be the connector between vision and reality — guiding clients through every step of their event journey with warmth, expertise and attention to detail. From initial enquiry to final execution, you’ll help create unforgettable experiences that reflect Nobu’s crafted hospitality and signature style.
You will
- Respond to client and colleague enquiries via phone and email with warmth and professionalism
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through genuine, friendly communication
- Book and coordinate show rounds for prospective clients
- Maintain accurate client records and build strong relationships
- Negotiate contracts and packages to maximise revenue
- Collaborate with the Director of Events and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and F&B Director to tailor event offerings
- Plan and organise events from start to finish, ensuring every detail is in place
- Create detailed function sheets and BEOs for operational clarity
- Conduct pre and post-event evaluations and report outcomes
- Propose ideas to improve service and event quality
- Understand and promote all F&B and event offerings, upselling where appropriate
- Support and train new team members, fostering a collaborative environment
- Attend team briefings and contribute insights for continuous improvement
- Liaise effectively with all departments to ensure seamless coordination
- Act as an ambassador for Nobu values of Family, Crafted, Smile and Kokoro
- Demonstrate a proactive, positive approach to work and guest care
- Suggest improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency and guest satisfaction

You bring experience in event planning or sales, ideally within a luxury hospitality setting. You’re organised, personable and passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences. With strong communication skills and a flair for detail, you’ll help turn ideas into beautifully executed events that leave a lasting impression.
