Key Responsibilities

As Groups, Conference & Events (GC&E) Planning Executive, you will:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all Group, Conference & Event bookings within the hotel
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat and future business by understanding their vision
  • Daily client communications, proactively addressing queries and offering expert advice for a seamless event experience
  • Collaborate with the GC&E Sales team and Hotel Operations to ensure alignment from initial enquiry to delivery
  • Update booking systems with accurate guest details, communications, and event specifications
  • Pursue upselling opportunities for enhanced revenue (e.g., additional function items)
  • Conduct hotel tour meetings to showcase facilities and services
  • Lead proposal development, tailoring every presentation to meet client needs

What It Takes

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, managing multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proactive, customer-focused mindset with strong communication
  • Genuine commitment to outstanding hospitality service
  • Professional telephone presence
  • Strong IT competence, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, email, presentations)
  • Exceptional attention to detail with precision in task delivery
  • Previous experience in event planning or hospitality preferred (but not mandatory for career starters)
