Groups & Events Sales Executive

About The Ned:

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned’s Club - a private members’ space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a whole floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms.

Reporting into the sales management team you will:

  • Be responsible for diary management, delivering to budgets for our Events department goals, maintaining customer relationships.
  • Make regular site inspections to showcase our event spaces.
  • Resolicit customers for repeat events.
  • Negotiate rates with clients and follow up on all proposals and request for proposal's
  • Share industry insights from enquiry handling and implementing action plans to improve conversion.
  • Implement the Events sales strategy and be adaptable to the market conditions.

  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and efficiency in prioritising tasks.
  • Rapport building skills are essential for working in our sales team; every guest is a loyal client or potential new client, so every interaction is crucial
  • An eye for problem solving and team discussions.
  • You’ll have a fantastic personality, engaging with our clients to give them an exceptional service and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues.
  • You’ll have great all-round passion for events and hospitality, and a strong desire to convert enquires into confirmed business.
