Groups & Events Sales Manager at The Cadogan

As a Groups & Events Sales Manager at The Cadogan, you will join our dedicated Sales team, supporting its vibrant culture and commitment to enhancing guest and property experiences. This role is your chance to shape the future of luxury hospitality while growing both personally and professionally.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed budgeted revenues in Groups and Banqueting as outlined in the annual financial plan.
  • Manage all group and event enquiries, from initial proposals through to follow-ups, contracting, and site inspections—optimising conversion rates.
  • Proactively manage a portfolio of key assigned accounts, implementing strategic sales initiatives to maximise room nights, event bookings, rates, and overall account potential.
  • Drive growth in both domestic and international group and event accounts, expanding existing client relationships.
  • Generate new business prospects and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee end-to-end event coordination, from inquiries and contract negotiations to on-site execution and post-event follow-ups.
  • Monitor and control the banqueting budget, delivering accurate forecasting to ensure financial targets are consistently met.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration with all hotel departments to facilitate flawless execution of in-house functions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor positioning, and client preferences to refine sales strategies and elevate customer experiences.

What You Bring

  • A warm, approachable, and client-centric personality with a genuine desire to connect
  • Strong teamwork collaboration skills and professional coaching capabilities
  • Fastidious attention to detail and the ability to balance large aspirations with precision
  • Proven expertise within the luxury hospitality sector, ideally with experience in high-end group and event sales
  • Experience managing accounts and sales within a 5-star hotel environment, is highly desirable
  • UK work eligibility is compulsory
