Growth and Development Lead
The Growth and Development Lead is responsible for driving the strategic expansion of the organisation's service provision, identifying and developing opportunities for sustainable growth across existing and emerging markets. Working within the Business Development team, the role will initially focus on expanding the organisation's construction-related provision, increasing market presence, developing new partnerships, and securing opportunities that align with organisational objectives.
As the construction portfolio becomes established and growth targets are achieved, the role will evolve to lead the expansion of provision into additional sectors and subject areas. This includes identifying market demand, shaping new service offerings, building relationships with employers, stakeholders and funding bodies, and supporting the development of innovative programmes that meet workforce and industry needs.
The Growth and Development Lead will work collaboratively with operational, curriculum and quality teams to ensure new opportunities are effectively implemented, commercially viable, and deliver positive outcomes for learners, employers and the organisation. The role requires a proactive, commercially minded individual with strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate market intelligence into sustainable business growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
