Job Description Summary

We’re currently the UK’s number one provider of personal loans, supporting customers to achieve their aspirations with unsecured personal loans and help them understand their affordability through innovative customer experiences with Your Credit Score.
We’re looking for someone with experience in designing and executing product and proposition strategies, who can innovate to reimagine loans and drive commercial growth. We want our future propositions to be bold so you’ll need to be creative, transformational, and be comfortable to proactively work with stakeholders across the Group to evolve and develop our future propositions.

What you'll be doing

Within Unsecured Lending, we're the UK’s number one provider of personal loans, helping customers achieve their ambitions through market-leading lending products and innovative experiences such as Your Credit Score.
As a Growth and Transformation Manager, you'll play a central role in defining how the Personal Loans business evolves over the coming years. You'll help shape a long-term strategic roadmap for growth, developing new propositions and initiatives that deliver commercial value while improving customer outcomes.
- Working closely with product, pricing, and platform teams, you'll turn customer insight, market intelligence, and emerging technology trends into opportunities that help us stay ahead of customer expectations and the competitive landscape.
- You'll use your understanding of customer needs, technology, and data to identify new opportunities for growth, while ensuring propositions are developed responsibly and in line with regulatory requirements such as Consumer Duty.
- You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the Group to turn strategic thinking into tangible outcomes, using AI and data capabilities to accelerate innovation, improve delivery, and create exceptional customer experiences.

Essential Skills
- 3+ years’ experience in strategy, commercial, proposition, or growth-focused roles, evaluating market dynamics, customer demand, and commercial outcomes to shape recommendations and business direction.
- Strong consumer insight capability, with the ability to translate customer needs into product, proposition, or growth strategies.
- Experience developing and delivering product, proposition, or business transformation initiatives that drive commercial and customer outcomes.
- Experience leveraging technology and data as business enablers, including exposure to AI-led solutions or transformation programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and drive decision-making across large, complex organizations.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working within Financial Services, ideally in Retail Banking.
- Understanding of the Consumer Duty regulatory framework.
- Experience embedding agile ways of working and supporting business transformation within cross-functional teams.
