**Commercial Growth & Client Acquisition Role – Remote - UK
About Barnaby Cecil
Barnaby Cecil is an independent financial planning firm based in London. We specialise in helping:
- Senior NHS doctors, business owners
- Internationally mobile professionals
Our WealthMap® planning process supports clients in making better financial decisions.
We are expanding with a focus on two specialist markets:
- Senior NHS consultants and medical professionals
- US citizens and US-connected professionals living in the UK
Our goal is to become the leading financial planning firm in these niches through:
- Exceptional client service
- Clear communication

The Opportunity
This is not a traditional marketing role but a commercial opportunity where you will:
- Own the journey from first contact to client signing
- Work directly with the Managing Director
- Sit at the intersection of marketing, business development, and client onboarding
- Ensure no opportunities fall through the cracks
- Drive consistent and professional growth
Key Responsibilities
📢 Marketing & Content
- Coordinate LinkedIn content production and scheduling
- Manage social media activity across LinkedIn and other relevant channels
- Repurpose videos, webinars, and client insights into written content
- Coordinate external designers, editors, and marketing suppliers
- Monitor engagement metrics and identify follow-up opportunities
- Maintain content calendars and campaign schedules

🎯 Lead Generation
- Support the lead generation programme implementation
- Monitor enquiries from LinkedIn, webinars, referrals, and lead magnets
- Engage with prospective clients and maintain regular contact
- Identify opportunities to increase awareness within target niches
- Support webinar and event promotion
🔄 Pipeline Management
- Own and maintain Pipedrive CRM
- Track opportunities at every stage of the client journey
- Set appropriate follow-up intervals for prospects
- Coordinate meeting bookings and next actions
- Ensure proposals and onboarding documents are issued promptly
🤝 Client Acquisition Support
- Support prospects from enquiry to client onboarding
- Assist with WealthMap® proposal administration
- Coordinate with the operations team for onboarding processes
- Provide weekly pipeline updates (progress & conversion rates)
- Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
📊 Reporting & Growth
- Produce weekly growth reports
- Track marketing performance and lead sources
- Monitor conversion rates across the client journey
- Contribute ideas to refine processes for efficiency and growth
What Success Looks Like (Within 12 Months)
✅ A consistent content and marketing engine operating ✅ Qualified opportunities entering the business monthly ✅ A structured, measurable, and repeatable prospect journey ✅ Fully maintained and up-to-date Pipedrive CRM ✅ Timely follow-ups and client communication ✅ Recurring revenue attributable to the role exceeding twice the annual salary cost

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent written communication
- Commercial mindset
- Experience managing CRM systems
- Comfortable using AI tools and technology
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Desirable
- Experience in financial services
- Knowledge of LinkedIn marketing strategies
- Experience managing sales pipelines
- Familiarity with Pipedrive CRM
- Coordination experience with webinars, events, or campaigns
- Personal interest in personal finance, business, or entrepreneurship
