Company Description

Tunic Pay is a London-based Series A fintech building the Payment Context Protocol to combat global financial crime. Led by veterans from Nova Credit and Palantir, the company provides banks with a real-time intelligence layer to investigate payments and stop scams before money leaves accounts, delivering measurable reductions in fraud losses.

Job Description

Join Tunic Pay as a "human accelerant" to scale early commercial operations. Working directly with the founders, you will own the end-to-end customer lifecycle—from prospecting major UK banks to managing pilot executions and long-term partnerships. This is a high-impact, ground-floor opportunity to turbo-charge growth and help secure 3.6 trillion annual transactions.

Location

London, UK

Why this role is remarkable

  • Join a high-calibre team of veterans from Cloudflare, Monzo, and Palantir at a high-growth startup with a pre-empted Series A funding round.
  • Directly impact global financial security by deploying specialized AI agents that help the UK's largest banks significantly reduce scam losses and operational workload.
  • Benefit from exceptional founder pedigree, including co-founders who previously raised $130M+ from Index and KPCB and scaled international operations to millions of users.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
