Growth Content Manager (Sports & Prediction Markets)

Growth Content Manager (Sports and Prediction Markets)

You will be responsible for planning and delivering impactful content across our sports vertical, with a specific focus on major US sports including the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college football, and college basketball.

You will own the content calendar and coordinate distribution across web, SEO/AEO, affiliate, social, and other channels, ensuring content is timely, commercially relevant, and aligned with key sporting moments and trading demand.

This role will require close collaboration with specialist teams across SEO/AEO, Paid Media, Affiliates, Social, and Product to ensure content supports both audience growth and commercial performance.


Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the sports content calendar across web, SEO/AEO, affiliate, social, and other distribution channels
  • Develop full funnel content plans around major US sports, including NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college football, and college basketball
  • Identify topical opportunities around key fixtures, major sporting events, seasonality, betting interest, and prediction market activity
  • Work with internal specialists across SEO/AEO, Paid, Affiliate, Social, and Product to align content with channel priorities
  • Ensure content supports:
    • Organic visibility across traditional search engines and AI answer surfaces
    • Audience engagement
    • Affiliate performance
    • Conversion goals
  • Brief internal and external writers, editors, and subject matter experts
  • Monitor content performance and use insights to improve planning, prioritisation, and execution
  • Work with internal and external resources to support digital PR efforts
  • Set up detailed SEO and AEO tracking and reporting
  • Utilise and enhance AI content production workflows to speed up production
  • Collaborate on ASO (App Store Optimization) production and reporting with internal stakeholders
  • Stay up to date with:
    • Latest developments across US sports
    • Prediction markets
    • Betting markets
    • SEO/AEO trends
    • Affiliate and social media dynamics

Requirements

  • Experience in sports content, iGaming, or a similar digital content role
  • Exceptional knowledge of major US sports, particularly the NFL and NBA, with broader understanding of MLB, NHL, college football, and college basketball
  • Experience creating and managing content calendars across multiple channels
  • Knowledge or experience of prediction markets, betting markets, odds, futures, props, raises, or related sports wagering concepts
  • Deep experience working in digital PR, SEO/GEO, or other digital content areas
  • Capacity to work cross-functionally with specialist marketing teams like SEO/AEO, Paid, Affiliate, Social, and Product
  • Critical editorial judgement, with the ability to balance:
    • Speed
    • Accuracy
    • User value
    • Commercial relevance
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to:
    • Interpret performance data
    • Turn insights into clear content priorities and engaging narratives
  • Comfortable working in an innovative, fast-paced, and performance-driven environment
