Prolific

Prolific is not just another player in the AI space – we are the architects of the human data infrastructure that's reshaping the landscape of AI development. In a world where foundational AI technologies are increasingly commoditized, it's the quality and diversity of human-generated data that truly differentiates products and models.

The role

Our Growth Data Science & Analytics function sits at the heart of Prolific and owns Prolific’s growth framework - answering questions like: where are our biggest opportunities, what's constraining our growth, and where should we invest next? We're looking for an experienced data leader to cover maternity leave for our Growth Data Science & Analytics Lead. This is an ex-co facing leadership role: you'll manage a team of three embedded data scientists & analysts, own the analytics roadmap across our business verticals, and be the senior data voice in cross-functional and ExCo-level conversations. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact interim leadership role in a fast-growing, data-rich marketplace business.

What you’ll be doing in the role

Team leadership & project oversight

Lead and manage a team of three embedded data scientists & analysts Own weekly planning, prioritisation, and delivery oversight across the team's workstreams Act as line manager and primary point of escalation, supporting individual contributor development and day-to-day work Manage intake processes and stakeholder expectations across business verticals

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
