Growth Lead
Position Description
About the Role
You’ll be joining an early-stage AI software business, assuming the pivotal role of Growth Lead / Growth Marketing Lead / Demand Generation Lead. This position involves pioneering growth, demand generation, positioning, and go-to-market (GTM) activities for a company revolutionising AI automation within the traditional B2B market.
The company is innovating AI-enabled software that streamlines operational workflows, enhances customer responsiveness, and slashes manual workloads in dynamic, service-oriented environments. Currently navigating the early commercial stage, the team comprises strong foundational leadership, projects bold growth ambitions, and is escalating its focus on sales, marketing, and GTM activities.
This is an essential founding growth hire positioned within an agile startup culture. Your responsibilities will span closely collaborating with the founders, sales, and customer-facing teams to shape positioning, generate demand, and establish a scalable pipeline of qualified demos.
This high-agency role demands first-mover efficiency. Due to its early-stage nature, you will be responsible for constructing, rather than inheriting, strategies and playbooks for:
- Messaging and demand generation
- Content creation and campaign development
- Leadership, founder-driven growth activities
- Fusion of paid, organic channels
- Event strategy and execution
- Performance measurement and optimisation
Location and Legal Requirements
- Location: London (primarily office-based, 4 days a week).
- Requirements: Full-time with the restricted right to work in the UK and no need for sponsorship.
Benefits & Compensation
The position offers:
- Competitive salary: £55,000–£70,000 base.
- Equity: Meaningful participation in company equity.
- Early Stage Impact: An opportunity to mold growth operations from the groundwork stage.
Responsibilities
The Growth Lead will be expected to excel in diverse areas, exemplifying hands-on leadership for comprehensive growth initiatives:
- Define and refine company positioning, messaging, and narrative tailored to engage time-poor, non-technical, and sceptical B2B buyers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
