About the Role

As a founding member of iwoca’s new SME insurance venture, you will design and launch its end-to-end marketing strategy. Reporting directly to the Insurance Venture Lead, you will build a scalable, multi-channel growth engine serving underserved SMEs across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end marketing strategy and define the go-to-market approach.
  • Run experiments across messaging, audiences, channels, pricing, and customer journeys.
  • Launch and manage campaigns across digital, partner, and offline channels.
  • Validate value propositions and scale acquisition through search, social, and direct mail.
  • Build lead-nurturing workflows and cross-sell B2B insurance products to iwoca’s existing customer base.
  • Own acquisition metrics and unit economics from awareness through policy conversion and renewals.
  • Create high-converting content and use AI and automation to accelerate experimentation and campaign optimisation.
  • Use conversion data and customer feedback to influence product priorities, with future ownership of the marketing budget and team growth.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience owning customer acquisition in a startup, scale-up, or venture environment.
  • Experience managing growth metrics and marketing spend.
  • Strong experimentation skills, including designing A/B tests and interpreting imperfect data.
  • Highly data-literate, with confidence reading dashboards and investigating anomalies.
  • Hands-on copywriting skills and a willingness to test and iterate.
  • Demonstrable marketing automation expertise; HubSpot is strongly preferred.
  • Fintech or insurtech experience is a bonus.
  • Visual design experience using tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus.
