We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Strategist to help turn client goals, audience insight and performance data into clear digital growth strategies that drive measurable results.

This is a role for someone who can connect the dots between strategy, creative, media and client communication. We want someone who can see the bigger picture, turn it into a practical roadmap, and work closely with clients and internal specialists to make it happen.

Employment Type

Contract-to-hire (initial contract with intent to convert to full-time)

Remote (UK preferred, EU/US considered)

Experience Level

3+ years

About Ladder

Ladder builds outsourced digital growth teams for some of the most ambitious companies in the world.

We partner with high-growth startups and global brands to solve complex growth problems by embedding strategy, performance marketing, creative and technology into a single integrated team. Our teams operate as an extension of our clients’ businesses, combining strong strategic thinking, digital execution and creative problem-solving to help brands grow in modern performance environments. Ladder also describes itself as a creative-powered growth marketing agency focused on strategic digital marketing and data-driven creativity.

As our client work continues to grow in scale and complexity, we’re looking for a strategist who can help lead client relationships, shape smart digital marketing roadmaps and drive strong commercial outcomes across channels.

The Role

We’re hiring a Growth Marketing Strategist to join our growing team.

This role sits at the intersection of client strategy, performance marketing and creative execution. You’ll act as a bridge between clients and internal teams, helping ensure that what we build is strategically strong, clearly communicated and commercially effective.

You’ll be responsible for managing client relationships, developing strategic roadmaps, identifying growth opportunities and helping teams execute against the priorities that matter most. You should be comfortable moving between high-level business thinking and practical digital marketing decisions, whether that means refining channel strategy, challenging a brief, prioritising tests or presenting performance back to a client.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is a strong fit for someone with solid digital marketing experience who enjoys both thinking and doing: someone who can shape strategy, communicate it clearly and work cross-functionally to bring it to life.

Contract-to-Hire Structure

This role will start as a contract engagement, with clear intent to convert into a full-time role.

We are looking to make a permanent hire, but we want to find the right candidate and validate the role through real client work before making a long-term commitment. We believe the best way to do that is by working together in practice first.

The initial contract period will be hands-on and embedded in live projects. If there is a strong mutual fit, the intention is for the role to become full-time.

What You’ll Do

  • Build digital growth strategies that align with client goals, commercial priorities and audience needs
  • Act as a key day-to-day strategic contact for clients, building trust through strong thinking, clear communication and reliable follow-through
  • Translate business goals into channel strategy, testing priorities and actionable marketing roadmaps
  • Work closely with paid media, creative and analytics teams to develop and refine campaigns across channels such as paid social, search, landing pages, content and CRO
  • Help ensure creative ideas and campaign direction are grounded in clear strategic thinking and relevant performance insight
  • Analyse performance data and turn it into clear recommendations, decisions and next steps
  • Lead strategy sessions, client calls and internal collaboration around priorities, progress and opportunities
  • Proactively identify client challenges, growth opportunities and areas for improvement across accounts
  • Ensure projects move forward with clarity, momentum and alignment across teams
  • Maintain a high bar for strategic quality, commercial thinking and client experience across all work

Who This Role is For

This role is for someone who:

  • Has 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth strategy, account strategy or a similar client-facing marketing role
  • Understands performance marketing and can think confidently across channels rather than only within one platform
  • Has experience with platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads and TikTok Ads
  • Can interpret performance data and turn it into clear, commercially useful recommendations
  • Is both strategic and practical, able to zoom out to the bigger picture and then translate it into action
  • Is a strong communicator who can build credibility with clients and collaborate effectively with internal teams
  • Understands how strategy, creative and media should work together rather than in silos
  • Is proactive, adaptable and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
  • Enjoys solving problems, finding opportunities and helping clients grow
  • Cares about both quality of thinking and quality of execution
