About Medly AI
We're the fastest growing EdTech startup in London, on a mission to change education forever. This is a moment where AI-native companies are reshaping entire industries, from Cursor in code, to Midjourney in image generation, to Harvey in law. Medly is building that company for education.
Since launch, we've reached over 400,000 students with retention rates that beat Duolingo, and we've delivered personalised learning with real results. We're backed by impact-focused VCs and supported by partners including UCL, Innovate UK, Microsoft, and Google.
The role
We're looking for a Growth Product Manager to join our London team. You'll work directly alongside our founders (both ex-doctors with teaching backgrounds), our product and engineering teams, and our growth function to make Medly the best place to start, and keep, learning.
This role sits at the intersection of data, design, and product. You'll own the flows that shape a student's first impression and ongoing experience - onboarding, activation, conversion, and retention - combining funnel analysis with strong design execution. You'll find where students drop off, form a clear point of view on why, and confidently redesign the flows that move the numbers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you'll do
- Map, analyse, and improve the core funnels across our B2C product - signup, onboarding, activation, subscription conversion, and retention
- Turn funnel data and user research into clear hypotheses, then design and ship the flows that test them
- Own the craft end to end: from the insight, to the wireframe, to the polished, production-ready UI
- Design and run A/B tests with our product and engineering teams, and read the results honestly - including when your idea didn't win
- Confidently overhaul existing flows where they're underperforming, rather than just iterating at the edges
- Partner with content, pedagogy, and engineering so growth work strengthens the learning experience
What we're looking for
- A strong portfolio of product design work, ideally with shipped B2C flows and a visible focus on conversion, activation, or retention
- Genuine fluency with funnel data. You're comfortable digging into analytics, spotting where users drop off, and forming a view on why
- Excellent design taste, product intuition and strong UI/UX fundamentals.
- Comfortable owning a flow end to end, from the metric to the pixels
- A point of view on what makes a great B2C experience, and the confidence to redesign things rather than tweak them

- Familiarity with tools like PostHog, or similar

Who thrives here
- You care about quality and take pride in work that holds up under scrutiny
- Curious about how users think, and willing to dig into the data to understand it
- Happy to take initiative and work in uncertainty when the data isn't clear. If something isn't working, you flag it or fix it.
- Comfortable in a startup environment. Things move very quickly and priorities shift often.
