As demand accelerates across key infrastructure sectors, we are seeking an experienced external facing Market Leader to drive strategic growth across our Civils for Energy portfolio in our Transport & Infrastructure Business Unit.
Your new role
As the Civils for Energy Market Leader, you will shape and drive market strategy by identifying, developing, and converting opportunities that strengthen our market profile, build a high-quality pipeline, and grow a sustainable orderbook.
Working closely with the Transmission & Distribution Sector Leadership team, other market leads within Transport & Infrastructure and delivery teams, you will strengthen Ramboll’s market position, build trusted client relationships, and translate client needs into winning opportunities.
This is a senior, client-facing role with significant influence on Ramboll Transport’s growth strategy.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Develop and execute growth and sales strategies across the Energy and Transmission & Distribution market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key industry stakeholders
- Lead and coordinate major pursuits, bids, and framework opportunities
- Work closely with technical teams to shape compelling value propositions and innovative solutions
- Identify market trends, client challenges, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic planning
- Support account management and long-term client development activities
- Represent Ramboll at industry events, conferences, and client meetings

About You
We are looking for a commercially minded leader with a strong track record of driving growth in infrastructure markets.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience in growth, sales, or business development within the Energy or similar infrastructure markets
- A background working closely with clients, contractors, and delivery partners
- Strong understanding of energy project lifecycles, procurement routes, and frameworks
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills
- Experience leading or contributing to successful bids and major pursuits
- A collaborative mindset, able to work across disciplines and geographies
