Empowered Personnel are currently recruiting for experienced GRP Fibreglass Laminators to join our client based in Coventry.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a manufacturing environment producing high-quality composite products.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for preparing and applying fibreglass materials to moulds to create high-quality components. This includes working from lay-up specifications and using a range of laminating techniques such as brush gel coating, wet hand lay-up and spray lamination.

You will also be required to ensure all work meets strict safety and quality standards while maintaining efficiency in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing moulds ready for gel application
- Reading and understanding lay-up specifications and drawings
- Application of gel coat
- Carrying out laminating processes including: brush gel coating, hand lay-up and spray lamination
- Using hand tools and basic laminating equipment
- Identifying and correcting laminating defects
- Using core materials and bonding pastes
- Working with patterns and jigs

Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a GRP Sprayer, GRP Laminator or Fibreglass Technician
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Good team player with strong communication skills
- Understanding of GRP laminating processes including trimming and grinding
- Awareness of quality control procedures
Salary
£12.95 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
