Who We Are Looking For

The GSOC Lead will support the day-to-day operations of a dedicated Global Security Operations Centre based in London City. This role requires a detail-oriented and professional individual with strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Daily responsibilities will include overseeing GSOC activity, monitoring global events, reviewing CCTV and access control alerts, supporting travel risk monitoring, managing incidents, and ensuring clear escalation and communication with internal and external security teams.

The successful candidate must be able to remain calm under pressure, lead by example, support team performance, and deliver clear, effective communication to a global audience.

What You Will Work On

  • Provide emergency and non-emergency security system monitoring, dispatch, and escalation support
  • Oversee GSOC operations during assigned shifts and support Analysts with incident response and decision-making
  • Monitor global events, security alerts, CCTV, access control systems, alarms, and other security platforms
  • Assess incidents and escalate risks that may impact client personnel, offices, assets, or operations
  • Write and review security incident reports, operational updates, and situational awareness communications
  • Collect, evaluate, and disseminate information to support timely security action plans
  • Support travel risk monitoring and escalation for employees and locations of concern
  • Work closely with onsite, offsite, internal, and external security teams
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, files, procedures, and operational documentation
  • Support the development and improvement of GSOC procedures, workflows, and escalation processes
  • Coach, mentor, and support GSOC Analysts to maintain consistent operational standards
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive client, employee, and security information

What You Will bring

  • Previous experience in a GSOC, SOC, corporate security, intelligence, military, law enforcement, emergency operations, or critical incident management environment
  • Prior team lead, shift lead, supervisory, mentoring, or escalation management experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience with CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, travel risk tools, incident management platforms, and open-source monitoring tools is desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with a global audience
  • Ability to assess information quickly, make sound decisions, and escalate appropriately under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks or incidents concurrently
  • Professional and composed when dealing with executives, clients, internal teams, external partners, authorities, and members of the public
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other technology platforms used in a corporate security environment
  • Must be willing to sign an NDA, maintain strict confidentiality, and work a shift-based rota including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required
  • Must hold, or be willing to obtain before deployment, a valid SIA licence; an SIA CCTV/Public Space Surveillance licence is strongly preferred
