What Pit Is

Pit helps enterprises build and run custom software that runs their business operations. Founded by the founders and CTO/AI leads of Voi, Klarna, iZettle, etc. Live with large enterprise customers across multibillion-dollar retail, healthcare, mobility, telecom, and industrials businesses. Backed by a16z and 30 angels including founders and leaders from Unity, Deel, King, Sana, Anthropic, OpenAI, Mercury, Permira, DST, Lakestar, and the Wallenberg family.

Why this role exists

Pit is scaling its commercial organization across EMEA and APAC. Each market has a distinct enterprise landscape, but the same underlying thesis: large enterprises are ready to deploy AI into core operations, and the ones who move first need a partner they trust to build with. We are bringing in a commercial operator to own a portfolio end to end - carry the deals, build the pipeline, shape the local narrative, and prove the GTM playbook that turns founder-led traction into repeatable revenue. This is an individual contributor role with full market ownership and a direct path to leading a team as deal volume scales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Own

Market ownership

  • Full pipeline and revenue ownership for all accounts in your market. You are the primary commercial point of contact for every enterprise prospect and customer in the geography.
  • Own the entire sales motion: prospecting, discovery, scoping, close, and land-and-expand. Expansion is where Pit makes the large revenue so this needs to be in your core. Leverage founder introductions where they exist and build net-new pipeline where they do not.
  • Coordinate the team around you in your accounts. You set the deal strategy; Solution Engineers and implementation team execute the technical scoping and delivery handoff.
  • Part of building the local market narrative: position Pit in the enterprise AI conversation through events, executive roundtables, and ecosystem engagement.
