GTM Engineer
Our Mission
We're not your average benefits platform – we're the driving force that uplifts people's lives. Our technology connects the entire benefits ecosystem, creating better outcomes for employers, employees, brokers, and providers. Our mission is clear: to build a world where everything works at its best, ensuring every employee gets the support they need to thrive, both at work and beyond.
Your Mission
As our GTM Engineer, you will build the machine the business runs on. You’ll sit with the teams driving growth (demand generation, marketing, sales), understand their goals, and design the systems, automations, and agents that make those goals a reality—eliminating manual processes and streamlining workflows. You’ll think holistically, not tool by tool: mapping data movement, identifying pain points, and deciding what can (or should) be automated while ensuring critical oversight is in human hands.
What You’ll Be Working On
-
Architecting the Growth Engine Design how your GTM stack integrates systems (CRM, data warehouses, workflow tools) and builds the automations to connect them, ensuring the machine drives outcomes—not manual copy-pasted work.
-
Deploying Agent Solutions Design and operationalise the agent stack for prospecting, intent-to-action, enrichment, and routing. Balancing automation with safety and decision-making, you’ll integrate tools like Clay, HubSpot, n8n, Make, AI agents like Claude, and custom APIs—knowing when to remove human centrestages and when to retain oversight.
-
Funnel Analytics & Optimization Develop the data pipelines that fuel growth, enriching with signals to identify high-value prospects and opportunities. Track conversion rates at every stage, spot leaks, fix issues, and prove revenue impact—never assume success based on theory alone.
-
Streamlining Handoffs Eliminate friction between teams—marketing, sales, and customer success—by automating or redesigning handover processes, ensuring clarity and continuity without manual intervention.
-
Maintaining & Improving the Machine Own the longevity of your work—monitor, debug, and enhance the systems, ensuring they remain robust and efficient. From running SQL queries on warehouses to maintaining self-updating dashboards, you keep everything running at peak performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why You’ll Succeed Here
This role is for you if you:
✔ Are a builder at heart—you’ve created functional systems and automations that others rely upon, and you can showcase real-world examples of your work.
✔ Master automation tools & APIs—whether that’s using n8n, Zapier, Make, or proprietary workflow tools, you’ve wired tools yourself rather than waiting for DevOps.
✔ Understand both code and tools—you can engage with codebases, make incremental changes, or collaborate with engineers without being a full-stack dev. “I avoid code” doesn’t meet the bar here.
✔ Examine and trust data—you’ve queried and analysed complex data warehouses, and can make decisions based on insights rather than guesses.
✔ Have hands-on GTM experience—whether in sales, marketing, Revenue Ops, or Customer Success, you know the end-to-end motion: how leads progress through the pipeline and where inefficiencies linger.
✔ Have worked with modern GTM stacks—you’ve driven and adjusted systems like HubSpot, Attio, or AI-intelligent CRMs, designing processes from scratch.
This role will challenge you if you:
⚠ Prefer a deliberate pace—we move fast. Uncertainty is manageable, but hesitation can’t slow the engine.
⚠ Rely on others to step up—this is an owner-operator role. You’ll build to end, resolve challenges, and ensure quality, not someone else’s problem to fix.
⚠ Favor the status quo—we’re transforming systems. Our priority isn’t keeping things the same—remaining curious and rising to new challenges is critical.
⚠ Need strict boundaries—roles, and our culture, are fluid as we evolve. It’s rare to be handed a locked-down brief; initiative and adaptability are required.
⚠ Struggle with ambiguity—to operate autonomously, you’ll digest information, emerge decisions, and take responsibility—not cling to prescriptive “follow this manual” environments.
The Opportunity: Shape the Future of GTM
This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to design the go-to-market engine of tomorrow from foundational principles.
You’ll build without limitations from legacy systems, own the budget and autonomy to craft the best possible workflows, and own the direct collaboration from founders in our Transformation tribe. Every system you create won’t just support us—it’ll reclaim time for your team and expedite progress. You’re not just persuading; you’ll actively shape what’s possible.
