Go-To-Market (GTM) Engineer / Revenue Operations
Location: Cambridge (Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000–£60,000 DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technically minded Go-To-Market (GTM) Engineer to join an innovative, rapidly growing technology business developing cutting-edge solutions for the life sciences sector.
This role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing and engineering, where you'll build and optimise the systems, automation and data infrastructure that power commercial growth. Working closely with the commercial team, you'll ensure sales processes are efficient, data-driven and scalable through intelligent automation and AI-enabled workflows.

The Role
As the GTM Engineer, you'll take ownership of the commercial technology stack, ensuring CRM data is accurate, workflows are automated and valuable insights are available to drive better decision making.
You'll work with modern AI tools, CRM platforms and automation technologies to streamline customer engagement and improve sales efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the HubSpot CRM, including pipelines, automations, reporting, integrations and data structure.
- Develop and maintain the commercial technology stack, including CRM, lead enrichment tools, email sequencing, dashboards and reporting.
- Design automated workflows for lead enrichment, account research, meeting preparation and customer follow-up.
- Build AI-powered tools to support prospect research, account intelligence and personalised communications.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline health, conversion rates and key commercial KPIs.
- Run experiments across messaging, targeting and sales processes to optimise commercial performance.
- Maintain high standards of CRM data quality and system integrations across business platforms.
- Document processes and provide training to ensure successful adoption of new systems.
- Continuously improve workflows and identify opportunities to increase efficiency as the business grows.

About You
You'll combine strong technical capability with an understanding of commercial operations and enjoy building practical solutions that make a measurable impact.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years' experience in a Revenue Operations, GTM Engineering, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations or similar role.
- Advanced experience configuring, automating and administering HubSpot CRM.
- Programming experience with Python, JavaScript or similar languages.
- Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, webhooks and automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, n8n or Clay.
- Experience implementing AI and Large Language Model (LLM) workflows within business processes.
- Strong analytical skills with experience creating dashboards, reports and performance metrics.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to deliver scalable systems quickly.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to document processes and train users.

Desirable
- Experience supporting commercial teams within biotech, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, engineering or other technical industries.
- Knowledge of complex B2B sales environments.
- Experience integrating Microsoft 365 with HubSpot.
- Scientific or technical literacy with the ability to understand technical customer environments.
