We are looking for a GTM Sales Operations Director (B2B) to join our team.
We are looking for a GTM Sales & Operations leader to architect the bridge between B2B Sales and Marketing at Kaplan. You will serve as the primary engine for our B2B strategy, responsible for aligning market insight with sales execution. Your mission is to foster a unified "win-together" culture, ensuring our curriculum, marketing, and sales teams operate as a single, high-performing unit that drives growth across the apprenticeship and skills landscape.
Essential
What you’ll bring to the role
- Unified GTM Leadership: Demonstrable success in aligning B2B Sales and Marketing functions, with a proven ability to lead a "unified" revenue engine rather than managing siloed departments.
- Strategic & Collaborative Leadership: A proven track record in breaking down organisational silos, fostering a "win-together" culture, and leading cross-functional teams with diverse skill sets.
- Analytical & Commercial Acumen: Extensive experience in leveraging data to drive sales strategy, including Revenue Operations (RevOps), market insights, and CRM management (e.g. Salesforce).
- Strategic Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage at C-suite and director levels, acting as a bridge between technical/educational teams and commercial leadership to ensure a unified approach to solution delivery.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the UK skills and apprenticeship landscape (including the apprenticeship levy and funding rules), with the ability to discuss these topics confidently with technical experts.
- Solution Design: Proven ability to scope complex client needs and design bespoke training or technical solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional written and presentation skills, with the ability to devise complex client proposals and represent Kaplan as a thought leader in the market.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
