GTM Strategist

GTM Strategist Location: United Kingdom Role Partnered with: United Kingdom-based company within a high-growth developer platform ecosystem

This role sits at the core of a high-growth developer platform, where strategy, data, and execution converge to shape how go-to-market (GTM) teams operate and scale. You will design and optimize the systems that power revenue performance, collaborating across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Engineering to unify how data and decisions flow across the organization. The role blends strategic thinking with hands-on analytical work, requiring deep involvement in:

  • Revenue operations
  • Forecasting
  • Segmentation
  • Performance insights

You will play a key role in building scalable GTM infrastructure, enabling teams to better understand customer behaviour, improve conversion, and drive long-term growth. This is an highly cross-functional, impact-driven role, influencing how a global, developer-focused business expands. Ideal for those thriving in fast-moving, zero-to-scale environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the end-to-end revenue operations strategy, focusing on:
    • Customer success
    • Pipeline health
    • Forecasting
    • Territory design
    • Capacity planning
  • Build and maintain a reliable single source of truth for revenue and usage data across systems, ensuring:
    • Accuracy
    • Accessibility for decision-making
  • Partner with Sales leadership to design:
    • Segmentation models
    • Coverage strategies
    • Quota structures aligned with developer-led buying behaviours
  • Define key GTM metrics across the funnel, from:
    • Acquisition to expansion Translate data into actionable insights driving business decisions
  • Lead the RevOps roadmap by:
    • Prioritising tooling
    • Evaluating systems
    • Managing vendor relationships to improve scalability and efficiency in GTM
  • Collaborate closely with Finance on:
    • Forecasting
    • Revenue alignment, ensuring:
      • Consistency between operations and financial models
  • Work with engineering and GTM systems teams to automate workflows and build:
    • Scalable data pipelines operationalising strategy

Requirements

  • Experience: 6+ years in:
    • Revenue Operations
    • GTM Strategy
    • Sales Operations
    • Strategy Consulting Seeking applicants with industry experience in B2B SaaS or developer-focused companies.
  • Technical skills and proficiency with:
    • GTM tools: HubSpot, BigQuery, modern data stacks
    • Ability to navigate and build insights from complex datasets
  • Technical proficiency:
    • Hands-on SQL (direct insights extraction, data extraction)
  • Experience in high-growth environments designing or improving:
    • Sales processes
    • Forecasting frameworks
    • Territory models
  • Experience in product-led growth models:
    • Understanding of usage-based triggers
    • PLG-to-sales conversion dynamics
  • Strong cross-functional communication to align:
    • Sales
    • Finance
    • Marketing
    • Engineering stakeholders
  • Attributes:
    • Highly autonomous mindset
    • Bias toward ownership and execution
    • Ability to build scalable systems from scratch
