Our Blend of Benefits

  • 12 month FTC
  • Salary £13.45 per hour plus shift allowance
  • Hours – 37.5 hours per week
  • 37 days holiday pro rata, plus 4 Giving More volunteer days

By providing warm hospitality and expert knowledge, you will inspire lasting brand advocacy and create an outstanding experience for all guests of The Macallan Boutique.

Make an Impact

  • Deliver exceptional, brand‑led service that inspires guests to become ambassadors of The Macallan
  • Work and communicate effectively across The Macallan Estate, maintaining impeccable presentation standards
  • Adhere to all estate and Edrington procedures, ensuring health, safety, and operational excellence
  • Remain fully attentive to guest needs, including concierge and accessibility support
  • Build strong brand and product knowledge through training and continuous learning
  • Maintain tasting areas to agreed presentation standards
  • Confidently use booking and till systems
  • Proactively exceed guest expectations by recommending relevant experiences and products
  • Stay informed on local insights and events to enhance the guest experience
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of products, pricing, and bespoke offerings
  • Professionally upsell through warm, diplomatic engagement
  • Follow best‑practice stock control, rotation, security, and payment handling

Your Talent and Skills

  • A strong, charismatic, positive and upbeat people person
  • Ability to learn and retain information about The Macallan brand and the brand heritage
  • Additional fluent language skills (oral) would be a distinct advantage
  • Confident, smart and takes immense pride in their appearance
  • Very friendly and approachable to all guests and colleagues alike
  • Driven to deliver the highest standards of luxury customer service and experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible, ‘can do’ approach to tasks and work activity
  • Strong personal standards of time keeping and a willingness to execute tasks perfectly
  • A strong sense of ownership and pride
  • Experience of processing high value transactions in a discreet and professional manner
