Our Blend of Benefits

Every Macallan Guest Experience Assistant receives:

  • 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)
  • Salary: £13.45 per hour plus shift allowance
  • 37.5-hour work week
  • Holiday: 37 days pro rata plus 4 Giving More volunteer days
  • Retirement benefits: Pension contributions (employee up to 8.75%, employer up to 14%)
  • Share Reward Scheme: Up to 10% (subject to eligibility)
  • Private medical insurance: Covers private healthcare with 24/7 GP access and a menopause health line
  • Welfare support: Counselling, life coaching, and guidance on financial, mental, and physical wellbeing
  • Product allowance to experience exceptional brands, plus a minimum 20% discount in our staff shop

The Macallan Guest Experience Assistant plays a pivotal role in delivering a world-class luxury experience to visitors at The Macallan Estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional brand-led service that inspires guests to become Macallan ambassadors.
  • Maintain impeccable standards in hospitality, guest interactions, and product knowledge.
  • Support concierge and accessibility services while adhering to health, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Proactively anticipate guest needs with attentive, personable service.
  • Stay informed about local events, brand offerings, and product updates.
  • Ensure proper tasting area presentation, stock control, and payment disclosure.
  • Confidently manage booking and till systems, promoting upselling diplomatically.
  • Act with integrity and discretion when handling high-value transactions.

Your Talent & Skills

We’re looking for a charismatic, service-minded professional with: ✔ A strong, positive, and upbeat demeanour ✔ Exceptional brand knowledge (or willingness to learn) of The Macallan ✔ Verbal proficiency in an additional language (advantageous, though not required) ✔ Elevated presentation standards—appearance reflects brand prestige ✔ Friendly, approachable personality for team and guest interactions ✔ Attention to detail, keeping pace with luxury service expectations ✔ Proactive, flexible work ethic with a strong sense of ownership ✔ Strong time management and ability to execute tasks flawlessly ✔ Experience handling discreet & high-value transactions
