Guest Experience Assistant

Macallan Guest Experience Assistant – 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)

Our Blend Of Benefits

  • 12-month FTC
  • Salary: £13.45 per hour + shift allowance
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Holidays: 37 days pro rata, plus 4 Giving More volunteer days
  • Pension: Employee contributions up to 8.75%, employer contributions up to 14%

Warm hospitality and expert knowledge will inspire brand loyalty and create a memorable, outstanding experience for all guests of The Macallan Boutique.


Make An Impact:

  • Deliver exceptional, brand-led service that turns guests into Macallan ambassadors
  • Work collaboratively across The Macallan Estate, maintaining impeccable presentation standards
  • Adhere to all estate and Edrington procedures, ensuring health, safety, and operational excellence
  • Prioritise guest needs, including concierge and accessibility support
  • Build and expand brand knowledge through training and continuous learning
  • Maintain tasting areas to agreed presentation standards
  • Operate confidently with booking and till systems
  • Proactively exceed expectations by recommending relevant experiences and products
  • Stay informed about local events to enhance the guest experience
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of product details, pricing, and bespoke offerings
  • Upsell professionally and diplomatically through engaging conversation
  • Maintain strict stock control, rotation, security, and payment protocols

Your Talent And Skills

  • Strong, charismatic, positive, and upbeat individual
  • Ability to learn, retain, and showcase knowledge of The Macallan brand and heritage
  • Fluency in an additional language would be a significant advantage
