Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the visible ambassador of the Jumeirah brand, extending a warm, consistent, and authentic welcome to all guests and visitors in the lobby.
- Engage guests as a storyteller, sharing unique aspects of the Jumeirah experience, as well as cultural and historical insights about London and the hotel.
- Ensure smooth daily operations by managing administrative tasks and coordinating key information between teams.
- Proactively engage guests to create memorable experiences, gather feedback, and address their needs in a timely manner.
- Assist with guest requests, including:
- Reservations
- Directions
- Special arrangements and bespoke services
- Provide exclusive VIP services, including:
- Coordinating seamless check-ins
- Arranging luggage delivery
- Ensuring personalised, high-touch attention for discerning guests
Ideal Candidate Profile
Candidates should demonstrates the following qualifications and attributes:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills: Friendly, approachable, and naturally engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Passion for hospitality: Knowledgeable about travel, culture, and the local area, with a keen interest in luxury hospitality.
- Strong communication: Fluency in English (Mandatory), with verbal and written excellence. Additional languages are a big plus!
- Attention to detail & organisational skills: Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Adaptability & flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Previous luxury hospitality experience: A proactive approach and sharp interpersonal skills are essential.
