Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Brand Ambassador: Represent Jumeirah’s luxury hospitality in the hotel lobby, delivering a warm, consistent, and genuine welcome to all guests and visitors.
  • Storyteller: Share unique narrative elements of the Jumeirah experience, including cultural or historical facts about the destination.
  • Lobby Operations Manager: Maintain smooth daily administrative workflows and ensure critical information is relayed to cross-functional teams.
  • Guest Engagement: Proactively enhance guest experiences by gathering feedback and addressing needs.
  • Request Assistance: Handle guest queries (e.g., reservations, directions, special arrangements) with meticulous follow-through for satisfaction.
  • VIP Hospitality: Welcome high-net-worth or VIP guests, coordinating seamless check-ins, luggage delivery, and personalised services.

Requirements for the Candidate

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Attitude: Friendly, approachable, and naturally engaging—able to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Passion for Hospitality: Deep understanding of, and enthusiasm for, luxury travel, culture, and local area knowledge.
  • Language Proficiency: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English required (further languages strongly enhanced).
  • Detail Orientation: Organised, meticulous, and adept at multitasking while upholding professional standards.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as needed.
  • Experience: Prior background in luxury hospitality, complemented by strong interpersonal skills and proactive guest service mindset.
