Guest Relations Manager
Qualifications
SHIPBOARD Employment
- Preferably 2–3 years of shipboard experience in a similar role within an international 5-star luxury establishment.
Language Skills
- Excellent fluent English (verbal and written), with the ability to give/receive instructions and engage with guests and crew members.
- Conversational proficiency in German, French, Spanish, or Mandarin.
Technical & Administrative Skills
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Microsoft applications
- Fidelio hospitality software
- Hotel operating systems (shipboard equivalent)
- Proactive problem-solving approach.

Duties & Responsibilities
Guest Services
- Delivers personalised customer service with genuine empathy for guest well-being.
- Responds immediately to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints—ensuring prompt follow-up and satisfaction.

Systems & Operations
- Maintains high-level communication and reporting with the Hotel Director and cross-departmental teams.
- Coordinates, organises, and supervises front office operations.
- Ensures comprehensive knowledge of shipboard facilities, ports-of-call, and services.
Training & Leadership
- Organises and leads reception team training sessions to enhance:
- Guest-focused service
- Technical skills
- Team development
