About the Role – Breakfast Ambassadors

(Frontline / Guest Experience – No prior hospitality background is required!)

Your role is to set the tone from arrival to departure—guests must leave with isolated good impressions. As part of the Adagio Aparthotels team in London Stratford, your priority is creating memorable hospitality experiences that align with our "A Home away from Home" philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Engagement

  • Extend warm welcome at arrival, enhance guest experience throughout stay
  • Represent Adagio’s hospitality brands—whether interacting at the front desk or within the breakfast lounge
  • Actively involve in daily operational aspects to ensure consistency and guest delight

Breakfast Service

  • Informative & sales-driven service: Present menu options, descriptions and effectively upsell beverages and breakfast choices.
  • Demonstrate high-standard waiter etiquette—plate presentation, clear table service, clean-cut liaisons with kitchen team.
  • Stand as single point of contact for all customer inquiries–answering questions about menu items, preparation methods, or dining recommendations.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness standards for the breakfast area, kitchen prep stations, and dining spaces.
  • Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations (health & hygiene).
  • Organize your station efficiently, adhere to inventory controls, and monitor equipment usage for safety and maintenance.

Workflow & Collaboration

  • Work closely with kitchen teams to avoid delays in service or discrepancies in ordering.
  • Support any other required frontline duties as assigned by the department supervisor.

Requirements

Essential Desired Qualifications

✔ “Guest-oriented” mindset – demonstrate warmth, patience, and proactive problem-solving ✔ Experience with food service (waiter, receptionist, hospitality preferred), though not always required ✔ Clear comm restrictions meaning? (relevant UK driving status to help eligible employees)

Personality & Soft Skills

Language Requirements: Fluent spoken English (essential) Customer Service: Your smile could be the first touchstone guests remember.

  • Part-Time (mix of days):
    • 2 days/week on rotating roster (pure vacation,
    • shifts: 6:30am-2:45pm approximately)
    • Available to work mon-fri & weekends.
