Job Description
Job Title: Guest Services Assistant
Location: Ashridge House, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, HP4 1NS
Reports to: Front of House Manager
Shifts: Four days on and Four days off, 12-hour shifts including weekends.
We are looking for a Guest Services Assistant to work with our friendly Front of House team to create a warm and memorable guest experience. The role includes welcoming our guests upon arrival, providing directions and any support required for their stay, in addition to reception support and other Front of House tasks as required. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role where you will be between greeting guests at the front of the property and being based in the Gatehouse office supporting with queries and other guest needs. Please note, certain hours of this role will require being outside to greet our guests as they arrive.
Key Responsibilities Include
Guest Welcome & Farewell: Provide a warm and professional greeting to all guests, opening doors on arrival and departure and ensuring a memorable first impression. Reception Support: Assist the reception team with guest check-in and check-out processes when required. Luggage Assistance: Help guests with loading and unloading luggage, transporting belongings to and from reception or guest rooms. Guest Assistance: Provide directions, share information about local attractions, and respond to guest queries in a helpful and professional manner.
