The Clermont Charing Cross

Contract: Flexible

Payment: Hourly

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Refresh and recharge in the heart of London's Charing Cross in our 4 star luxury hotel. This grand railway hotel is just a stone's throw from Trafalgar Square and the Strand. Enjoy the buzz of London's busy city streets, world class shopping and entertainment before returning to the peaceful haven of The Clermont Charing Cross.

What You’ll Be Doing

Are you the “go-to” person for the latest happenings in London? With a bold spirit and a passion for creating memorable moments, you will join a small but dynamic team dedicated to showcasing our vibrant city and ensuring our guests make the most of their visit.

In this role, you will assist guests with a variety of requests, from providing directions and booking theatre tickets to delivering luggage and arranging restaurant reservations. Every day brings new opportunities, and no two guests are the same! As the “face” of the hotel, you will be the reason our guests rave about their experience and choose to return.

What You’ll Bring

  • A strong passion for delivering the highest levels of service, with a desire to learn, work hard, and progress
  • Comfort in a front-line role, confidently engaging with guests and the public
  • Empathy and the ability to build relationships, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere
  • An open personality that is relaxed and natural in interactions, making guests feel at ease
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • A demonstrable desire to pursue a career in hospitality and to contribute positively to the team dynamic
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced service environment, showcasing adaptability and resilience
