Guidewire Data Technical Lead – Senior Manager
Line of Service Advisory Industry/Sector Insurance Specialism Guidewire Management Level Senior Manager Job Description & Summary About this Role The Guidewire Data Tech Lead position requires an experienced professional with a strong track record delivering enterprise data and analytics solutions within the insurance sector. The focus will be on complex transformation programmes involving Guidewire DataHub, InfoCenter, Cloud Data Access (CDA), Guidewire Data Platform, Data Studio, and broader enterprise data ecosystems supporting Guidewire Insurance Suite implementations. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) and modern cloud-native data architectures. You will leverage your expertise across Guidewire data products, ETL frameworks, reporting platforms, integration patterns, and cloud data services to lead and manage large-scale insurance data initiatives. What Your Day Will Look Like Engage proactively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients Lead solution design workshops for Guidewire data and reporting platforms during Discovery, Inception and build phases. Provide technical leadership across DataHub, InfoCenter, CDA, Data Platform and enterprise integrations. Mentor developers, analysts, and junior technical staff Drive adoption of best practices around data quality, data lineage, and data security in Guidewire data platforms to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Define scalable and secure data architecture patterns aligned to Guidewire Cloud standards collaborating with business and architecture teams to define reporting and analytics strategies Conduct architecture reviews and technical assessments to align Guidewire implementations with enterprise data strategy Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Guidewire data solutions, from requirements gathering and architecture design to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Support project planning, estimation, and technical governance activities Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and senior leadership teams Provide thought leadership and contribute to industry forums, whitepapers, or client-facing webinars focused on data modernization in the insurance sector. This Role is for You If You have strong experience in Guidewire DataHub, InfoCenter, CDA, Data Studio or Guidewire data platforms You have expertise in enterprise data architecture, ETL design, and integration patterns You have experience delivering Guidewire Cloud or Insurance Suite transformation programmes You have a strong understanding of insurance domain data across Policy, Claims, Billing, and Customer ecosystems You are experienced with cloud-based data solutions and modern analytics platforms You have prior experience with metadata management tools and data cataloguing solutions within the Guidewire ecosystem. Certification(s) in Guidewire, Cloud technologies, Data Engineering, or Scrum/Agile methodologies or Insurance Suite Analyst Certification – any Guidewire xCenter (Guidewire PolicyCenter (GWPC), Guidewire ClaimCenter (GWCC) or Guidewire BillingCenter (GWBC)) will be beneficial You can monitor emerging Guidewire releases, cloud service offerings, and industry trends to recommend and implement roadmap enhancements proactively.
