Help us grow our Guidewire capability across a flexible, opportunity-rich insurance transformation portfolio.
About the opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Delivery Lead to join our growing insurance technology capability. This is not a role tied to one fixed programme from day one; instead, it offers the chance to help shape and scale our Guidewire presence across a range of current and future opportunities.
You will bring strong delivery leadership, insurance domain understanding, and Guidewire expertise to help mobilise teams, support client conversations, establish delivery governance, and turn opportunity into successful outcomes.
We are flexible when it comes to location – travel will be expected on a regular basis.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the delivery of Guidewire implementation, upgrade, cloud transition, and transformation initiatives across PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and associated integrations.
- Support the growth of our Guidewire capability by helping shape delivery models, mobilisation plans, and scalable squad structures.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, architects, engineering teams, and client technology teams to align delivery with business goals.
- Establish clear governance across planning, capacity, utilisation, risk management, stakeholder reporting, KPIs, and value realisation.
- Drive smooth ramp-up and operationalisation of Guidewire squads, ensuring teams are set up to deliver effectively from the start.
- Contribute to roadmap planning, release strategy, backlog prioritisation, cutover planning, and delivery readiness across multiple workstreams.
- Champion continuous improvement, productivity, automation, AI adoption, and delivery best practice, drawing on wider Guidewire expertise and global capability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Strong understanding of Guidewire implementation lifecycles, upgrades, integrations, release management, environment strategy, and deployment models.
- Experience working across cloud and on-premise Guidewire environments, with an appreciation of modern engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong insurance domain knowledge, with the flexibility to operate across different lines of business, client contexts, and delivery models.
- Confidence managing senior stakeholders, translating complexity into clear delivery plans, and communicating progress, risks, and decisions effectively.
- Ability to bring structure to ambiguity, mobilise teams quickly, and create momentum where opportunities are still evolving.
- A collaborative, growth-minded approach, with the appetite to help build a capability rather than simply deliver against a pre-defined project brief.
