Flexibility and mobility are required to deliver this role as there will be requirements to spend time onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery of the outstanding services, we are known for.
About the role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Guidewire Delivery Lead (Senior Manager) to oversee the end-to-end release management and delivery of Guidewire-based transformation programs. This leadership role is critical in ensuring successful planning, coordination, and execution of releases across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and associated integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Guidewire implementations, stakeholder management, and scaled agile delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall release planning and execution for Guidewire InsuranceSuite implementations.
- Define and manage release schedules, cutover plans, and deployment strategies across multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate with functional leads, technical architects, QA teams, and client stakeholders to ensure readiness and alignment.
- Establish governance frameworks for release management, including risk mitigation, change control, and escalation protocols.
- Drive continuous improvement in release processes, automation, and DevOps enablement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards during release cycles.
- Act as a single point of contact for release-related communications and reporting to senior leadership.
- Support Guidewire upgrades, cloud transitions, and multi-region deployments.

Job Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in IT delivery with at least 5 years in Guidewire program leadership roles.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale Guidewire releases across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter
- Strong understanding of Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP), integration frameworks, and deployment models.
- Experience in release management, environment strategy, and cutover planning.
- Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with London Market insurers and regulatory environments is preferred.
