About the Role
Play a pivotal role in the professional rugby pathway as the Glasgow Warriors Academy Physiotherapist, based at Scotstoun Stadium.
You’ll support the Pro Academy squad through:
- Clinical excellence
- Injury prevention strategies
- Elite rehabilitation
Additionally, you’ll contribute to the national game by delivering medical support for the Scotland U20 national age-grade programme throughout the season.
Responsibilities
- Drive clinical excellence across the Glasgow Warriors Pro Academy medical programme
- Lead on:
- Injury prevention
- Assessment and treatment
- Rehabilitation strategies
- Support athletes’s progression in the professional rugby pathway through high-quality physiotherapy services
- Provide medical support for the Scotland U20 national age-grade programme season-long

Requirements
Essential
- Professional qualifications and registrations (e.g., HCPC registration, CSP membership, BSc in Physiotherapy)
- Valid first aid/trauma certification (Level 3 or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sports physiotherapy
- Ideally within high-performance or elite sport environments
Desirable
- ACPSEM (Australian. Presenter Sports Med presenting Inside) membership
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject
- Direct experience in an elite professional rugby environment
