About the Role

Play a pivotal role in the professional rugby pathway as the Glasgow Warriors Academy Physiotherapist, based at Scotstoun Stadium.

You’ll support the Pro Academy squad through:

  • Clinical excellence
  • Injury prevention strategies
  • Elite rehabilitation

Additionally, you’ll contribute to the national game by delivering medical support for the Scotland U20 national age-grade programme throughout the season.


Responsibilities

  • Drive clinical excellence across the Glasgow Warriors Pro Academy medical programme
  • Lead on:
    • Injury prevention
    • Assessment and treatment
    • Rehabilitation strategies
  • Support athletes’s progression in the professional rugby pathway through high-quality physiotherapy services
  • Provide medical support for the Scotland U20 national age-grade programme season-long

Requirements

Essential

  • Professional qualifications and registrations (e.g., HCPC registration, CSP membership, BSc in Physiotherapy)
  • Valid first aid/trauma certification (Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sports physiotherapy
  • Ideally within high-performance or elite sport environments

Desirable

  • ACPSEM (Australian. Presenter Sports Med presenting Inside) membership
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject
  • Direct experience in an elite professional rugby environment
