SAH Diagnostics is an award-winning healthcare provider delivering clinically governed services in partnership with NHS Trusts across the UK. We are seeking experienced Consultant Gynaecologists to support an NHS insourcing programme aimed at reducing long-waiting gynaecology and urogynaecology pathways. This role offers the opportunity to work within a structured, consultant-led service model focused on high-quality care, efficient delivery, and improved patient outcomes.

About the Role As a Consultant Gynaecologist, you will deliver outpatient gynaecology and urogynaecology services as part of a dedicated NHS insourcing programme. You will be responsible for clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients across the pathway, working within established Trust governance, policies, and clinical standards. Your expertise will play a key role in reducing waiting times and improving patient access to timely care.

Key Responsibilities · Deliver consultant-led outpatient gynaecology clinics, outpatients procedures and theatre inpatients procedure. · Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of gynaecology and urogynaecology patients · Support inpatient and outpatient procedures in line with service requirements · Ensure safe, effective, holistic and patient-centred care · Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation using Trust systems · Work collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary team · Comply with Trust policies, NICE guidance, RCOG standards, and local governance · Participate in service induction, clinical governance, and pathway review activity · Support efficient patient flow and timely completion of patient pathways Qualifications & Skills · Full GMC registration with licence to practise · Prior NHS consultant-level experience (essential) · RCOG certification (essential) · Sub-specialisation in urogynaecology (essential for those delivering urogynaecology services) · Demonstrates minimum English language requirements of an Allied Health Professional, as defined by NHS Professionals · Proven experience delivering outpatient gynaecology services within NHS settings · Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
