The Hair Stem Cell Transplant Doctor

The Hair Stem Cell Transplant Doctor will be responsible for performing Hair Stem Cell Transplantation (HST) procedures and delivering exceptional patient care across Hair Science Clinic locations. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Greater London, with regular international travel required to support other Hair Science Institute clinics worldwide.

The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient consultations
  • Assess suitability for HST treatment
  • Develop personalized treatment plans
  • Perform all stages of the procedure, including:
    • Donor graft extraction
    • Graft preparation
    • Precise implantation in accordance with the clinic's patented HST protocols

The doctor will:

  • Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
  • Oversee pre- and post-operative care
  • Conduct follow-up assessments to ensure optimal clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Collaborate closely with technicians and nursing staff
  • Adhere to strict infection prevention and clinical governance standards
  • Participate in continuous professional development through the Hair Science Academy

  • Willing and able to travel regularly to clinics across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East to perform HST procedures
  • Support clinical teams and maintain the Institute's consistently high standards of patient care

Qualifications

  • Fully licensed Medical Doctor with current GMC registration (or equivalent recognized medical license)
  • Experience in dermatology, cosmetic medicine, plastic surgery, minor surgery, or hair restoration is preferred
  • Strong consultation and patient communication skills, with the ability to assess patients, explain treatment options, and manage expectations
  • Excellent manual dexterity with the ability to perform precise donor graft extraction and implantation using microsurgical techniques
  • Experience in hair transplantation, including FUE or similar extraction techniques, is desirable. Full training in the proprietary HST technique will be provided
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to achieving natural, high-quality clinical outcomes
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis, sometimes at short notice, to support Hair Science Institute clinics
  • Commitment to continuous learning and participation in ongoing training through the Hair Science Academy
