AgileSource are looking to speak with HALO ITSM Developers regarding a new full-time opportunity with a growing IT & Digital Consultancy who are growing their HALO practice and are working on some large cutting-edge projects.

The Role

Background & Experience

  • Experienced ITSM Developer with hands-on expertise in HALO ITSM, ServiceNow, and similar platforms, delivering configuration, customization, and development across service management tools.
  • Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced experience in designing, developing, and supporting ITSM solutions, including:
    • UI forms and field configuration
    • Workflow design and automation
    • Notifications and business rules
    • Client-side and server-side scripting (JavaScript)
  • Proven capability in customizing HALO ITSM environments to meet complex organizational requirements.
  • Expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis, ensuring system stability and performance optimization.
  • Experience working both independently and within Agile development teams, delivering complex ITSM implementations and enhancements.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and service lifecycle processes, applying best practices across Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating ITSM platforms with external systems and tools, including:
    • REST and SOAP APIs
    • Third-party monitoring and event management solutions
    • Infrastructure and discovery tools
    • Solid understanding of Event Management and integration with enterprise monitoring platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in structured analysis, system design, and development methodologies.

  • Proven track record of delivering ITSM solutions, supported by clear, outcome-based examples and references.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, contributing to iterative development and continuous improvement.
  • ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4) certified; advanced certifications desirable.
  • Strong project delivery and customer engagement skills, with a focus on value-driven outcomes.
  • Highly collaborative team player, while also capable of working autonomously.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
