AgileSource are looking to speak with HALO ITSM Developers regarding a new full-time opportunity with a growing IT & Digital Consultancy who are growing their HALO practice and are working on some large cutting-edge projects.
The Role
Background & Experience
- Experienced ITSM Developer with hands-on expertise in HALO ITSM, ServiceNow, and similar platforms, delivering configuration, customization, and development across service management tools.
- Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced experience in designing, developing, and supporting ITSM solutions, including:
- UI forms and field configuration
- Workflow design and automation
- Notifications and business rules
- Client-side and server-side scripting (JavaScript)
- Proven capability in customizing HALO ITSM environments to meet complex organizational requirements.
- Expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis, ensuring system stability and performance optimization.
- Experience working both independently and within Agile development teams, delivering complex ITSM implementations and enhancements.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and service lifecycle processes, applying best practices across Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
- Demonstrated experience integrating ITSM platforms with external systems and tools, including:
- REST and SOAP APIs
- Third-party monitoring and event management solutions
- Infrastructure and discovery tools
- Solid understanding of Event Management and integration with enterprise monitoring platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in structured analysis, system design, and development methodologies.

- Proven track record of delivering ITSM solutions, supported by clear, outcome-based examples and references.
- Experience working in Agile environments, contributing to iterative development and continuous improvement.
- ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4) certified; advanced certifications desirable.
- Strong project delivery and customer engagement skills, with a focus on value-driven outcomes.
- Highly collaborative team player, while also capable of working autonomously.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
