Position Summary:

Handler at FedEx Poole Hours: 30 per week. Working pattern: Tuesday to Saturday 03:00am - 09:00am Salary: £13.29 (premia paid for hours worked between 19.00- 22.00 and 22.00 - 06.00)

Our Handlers ensure that customers' urgent packages get to the right place, on time. The role involves loading and unloading of company vehicles, sorting and moving packages / freight using effective scan and load methods complying with Health and Safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. You will use machinery and technology where it is appropriate and provide support to supervisor and team members as required.

The successful applicant should:

  • Be a great team player.
  • Be able to complete all required training.
  • Be able to communicate effectively, in a fast-moving environment.
  • Have excellent eye for detail and be able to make quick, accurate decisions.
