About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Handover and Completion Assistant Programme Manager to join our Routewide team based in Milton Keynes.

In this role, you will assist with managing, monitoring and reporting progress on Routewide handover, completion and commissioning (H&C) activities in accordance with the accepted and/or current programme. You will c ontribute to development of handover, completion and commissioning policies, procedures and guidance in the Business Management System.

Part of this role is to assist with the development, upkeep & improvement of bespoke reporting/ tracking tools to assist the EKFB business and Client understand H&C related progress and blockers. You will also a ssist with provision and archiving of H&C related management reports as required. Y ou will lead allocated forums, so that ToR and agenda are defined and communicated, supporting information is collated and distributed prior, and actions are recorded and monitored after.

In addition, you will a ssist the Handover and Completion Programme Manager to take an active role in trouble shooting/problem solving in the H&C space and also a ssist the business with mapping and addition of H&C related requirements to smartCONNECT, as part of the smartCONNECT Core Team. Y ou will also support adequate and effective audit processes.

About You

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Extensive experience in project execution with experience of handover and completion activities on major projects. Experience in the development of business process, reporting tools and dashboards on major multi-disciplinary projects in the construction industry, with multiple stakeholders. Ability to drive efficient delivery and business improvement including promotion of best practice. Excellent communication and engagement skills. You must hold a CSCS card (White, White/Yellow, Gold, Black or Red experienced). You must hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Our scope of the works includes 15 viaducts, 5km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 67 overbridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation.
