Handy Person
Fabric Engineer/Handyperson – SW London (Permanent)
Join a leading Facilities Management (FM) company as a fabric engineer/handyperson in South West London.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about maintenance and repair work to thrive on our large static site.
Hours & Salary
- Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm), with plenty of overtime opportunities available on-site.
- £32,000 per annum + -full company benefits.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves a variety of trades, ensuring facilities remain functional and presentable:
- Painting and decorating services
- Carpentry tasks, including door-hanging maintenance
- Basic electrical work, including lamp and ballast replacements
- Furniture assembly and setup
- Basic plumbing (drainage, flushing, minor fittings)
- Fire alarm testing and door safety protocols
- Grouting and plastering repairs
- General maintenance of building fixtures (doors, handles, windows, etc.)

Requirements
We are seeking applicants with prior experience in commercial building maintenance and strong technical skills:
- Proven experience as a building services fabric engineer/handyperson
- Trade qualifications preferred:
- City & Guilds (C&G) or NVQ in Painting and Decorating
- Full eligibility to work in the UK
