£14.42 per hour (PAYE)
Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant / Handyperson on behalf of our client, supporting the engineering team at a large industrial facility in Leeds.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a hands-on approach and experience carrying out general maintenance and DIY tasks within commercial or industrial environments.

The Role
Working alongside the on-site engineering team, you will provide additional support across the facility, assisting with a variety of general maintenance duties to help ensure the site remains safe, functional, and well maintained.
This is a Monday to Friday position, working 7:00am - 3:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the engineering team with day-to-day maintenance tasks
- Carrying out general DIY and handyperson duties
- Supporting with basic repairs and upkeep across the site
- Moving materials and equipment as required
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised
- Providing general assistance to support the smooth running of the facility

Requirements
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Assistant, Handyperson, or similar role
- Good practical DIY skills
- Experience working within commercial or industrial environments is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
This is an immediate requirement, and we are looking to speak with candidates who are available to start at short notice.
