Role Description
The Handyman role at DA Interiors LTD is a temporary, on-site position located in the Greater Plymouth Area. Day-to-day tasks include performing general repairs, basic carpentry and joinery work, assisting with renovation and flooring projects, and supporting construction activities as needed. The role involves using hand and power tools safely, following work instructions, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The Handyman will collaborate with supervisors and other tradespeople, respond to maintenance requests, and ensure work is completed to company quality and safety standards.

Qualifications
- Practical experience in basic carpentry, joinery, and general building repairs.
- Ability to carry out minor plumbing, painting, decorating, and flooring tasks.
- Competence in using common hand and power tools, with a strong focus on safety practices.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve routine maintenance issues.
- Strong time management, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of construction site procedures and health and safety regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in the Greater Plymouth Area.
- Previous experience in construction, renovation, or handyman work is preferred.
