About the Role

We’re seeking highly motivated, professional men/women carpenters with multi-trade expertise to join our team! This is a W2 position that offers the flexibility of an independent contractor model—we handle the job scheduling, and you deliver premium craftsmanship, customer service, and satisfaction.

You’ll work part-time or full-time from your home or workspace, providing:

  • Skilled carpentry and general handyman services
  • Back-and-forth travel via your own truck or van (or company-provided vehicle after 3-6 months)
  • The opportunity to earn between $50,000 and $70,000 annually, plus performance bonuses

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of carpentry, tiling, drywall, painting, and light electrical/plumbing tasks
  • Complete projects on schedule, within budget, and to flawless craftsmanship standards
  • Maintain professionalism and deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners and commercial clients
  • Consult and recommend improvements to ensure customer satisfaction and workplace safety
  • Handle documentation, invoicing, and communication with clients and franchise management
  • Participate in quality control checks and maintain company tools vehicles

Your Qualifications & Skills

Essential Requirements

  • Must live in the South Jacksonville to St. Augustine area (within 15 miles of job sites)
  • Proven track record as a carpenter/craftsman with at least 1-2 years of experience
  • Certified/licensed carpenter (if local requirements apply)
  • Portfolio or work samples—or recent references demonstrating professionalism and skill in various trades
  • Capability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks
  • Own standard carpentry/tools (beyond basic handyman essentials, per role-specific needs)
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Own truck or van (assigned a company vehicle after 3-6 months if needed)
  • Professionally presented, eager to learn, adaptable

Highly Valued Skills

  • Strong handyman/sweat-equity DIY background (former student of repair/renovation, exception may apply)
  • Excellent communication—able to articulate recommendations and solutions to clients
  • Delegation & attention to detail in ensuring accountable, well-documented completion of tasks
  • Solving real-world problems made easy—fast learner/resources own tools when gaps aren’t covered by provided equipment
  • Healthy and safety-conscious, safely handling heavy/dangerous materials as needed
