Workmate Agency are seeking a reliable and versatile Odd Jobs Operative to assist with a wide range of practical tasks across my clients site. The successful candidate will be hands-on, adaptable, and willing to undertake various duties including maintenance, cleaning, moving, basic repairs, and general labouring work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks.
- Perform basic painting, decorating, and handyman duties.
- Support warehouse, yard, and site operations as required.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
- Conduct cleaning and tidying of properties, workspaces, and outdoor areas.
- Assist tradespeople with installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Complete deliveries and collections when required.
- Ensure all tasks are completed safely and to a high standard.
- Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Practical and hands-on approach to work.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely.
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle required due to location.
- Previous experience in maintenance, labouring, removals, warehouse, or construction work is advantageous but not essential.
