We are currently recruiting for an experienced Handyperson to join a well-established maintenance team on a static site in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of general maintenance tasks, including snagging, making good, painting and other finishing works to ensure properties are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general snagging and finishing works.
- Making good walls, ceilings, woodwork and other surfaces following maintenance or installation works.
- Internal painting and decorating to a high standard.
- Completing minor repairs and general maintenance tasks as required.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Reporting any additional maintenance issues identified during works.
- Providing excellent customer service while working within occupied and unoccupied properties where required.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience in a Handyperson or Multi-Trade role.
- Strong skills in making good, patch repairs and painting & decorating.
- Experience carrying out general property maintenance.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable.
