Hardware Security Research Engineer
We're looking for a Hardware Security Research Engineer to join our team, working at the intersection of hardware, embedded systems, and cybersecurity.
You'll research complex electronic and cyber-physical systems, identify potential vulnerabilities, and develop proof-of-concept solutions that help solve challenging security problems. This is a hands-on role where you'll combine technical expertise with creativity to understand how systems work and how they can be secured.

What you'll do
- Research and analyse hardware and embedded systems.
- Identify hardware and cyber-physical security vulnerabilities.
- Design and build proof-of-concept prototypes and demonstrators.
- Debug hardware using tools such as JTAG, UART, SWD, oscilloscopes, and logic analysers.
- Reverse engineer hardware and firmware where required.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative security solutions.
- Present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

What we're looking for
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
- Experience with electronics, embedded systems, or hardware development.
- Hands-on experience debugging hardware and building prototypes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
You will need to be eligible for UK security clearance
