Job Title: Hart Lab Tech Assistant (Hourly)
Job Description Summary
You will support the ACC HART Lab by:
- Commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems and HVAC trainers.
- Assisting ACC HART Senior Lab Technicians in daily instructional operations for faculty and students.
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties & Tasks
- Provide support to HART Senior Lab Technicians in:
- Assisting faculty and students with lab exercises.
- Inventorying tools and supplies.
- Cleaning lab areas.
- Repairing lab equipment.
- Performing other assigned duties.
- Develop proficiency in:
- Office administration and bookkeeping principles.
- Discipline-specific knowledge (dependent on assignment).
- Safety protocols relevant to the role.

Special Requirements
- 1-year certificate in HVAC or currently enrolled in an HVAC certification program.
- EPA 608 Universal Certification.
- TDLR Technician Registration (required).
Physical Requirements
This role may involve:
- Standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Lifting objects up to 50 lbs (occasionally 100 lbs).
- Exposure to varied temperatures, noise, moving mechanical parts, and chemicals.
- Vision demands (near, far, color perception, and depth focus).
Compensation & Position Details
- Hourly Rate: $23.00/hour
- Positions Available: 1
- Closing Date: July 16, 2026
